    • Pitched and executed original story ideas; conducted interviews with political, sports, and community figures.

    • Collaborated closely with producers, reporters, and the Chief Photographer to create specials on breaking news stories under tight deadlines.

    • Edited stories for a range of topics, including sports, medical debt, legislation, technology, and social services, delivered as VOSOTs, packages, special reports, and YouTube exclusive content.

    January 2021 - March 2024

    • Spearheaded the creation of SUNDAY*(2023), a 1-hour 42-minute feature-length film, assembling a 36-person cast and crew.

    • Wrote the original screenplay for the film, collaborating with producers to incorporate feedback and complete multiple rounds of revisions to complete the 97 page final script.

    • Managed all aspects of production, overseeing pre-production, filming, editing, sound design, original score development, marketing, and final release—while fostering cross-department collaboration from all team members.

    • Executed a grassroots marketing campaign using tabling, flyers, campus clubs, local events and multiple social media platforms, driving the sale of 300+ tickets for premieres at the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater (Bloomington, IN) and the Normal Theater (Normal, IL).

    • Secured streaming distribution by producing key deliverables—including an EPK, closed captions, and an original soundtrack release—resulting in placement on multiple platforms like the Roku Channel.
